Something amazing happened when I woke up this morning! I could actually pull myself up to stand. Yes! I can stand up all by myself! Now, I can see everything clearly from my crib, including my slacker Mom who doesn't want to get up from bed to pick me up. This new skill helps me to determine if I should cry aloud or wait a bit when I wake up - cry vigorously when she's in the room, wait when she's not. It helps to save my voice.
It is such a fun experience to stand up. I even tried to loose my hands, attempting to stand unassisted. A free-fall is always followed, which is fun as well. After seeing my free fall performance, dad & mom immediately put extra set of bumper surrounding my crib. I don't like it as it blocks my vision when I sit. Now, I have to stand up all day then.
My goal is to walk next week. But my mom doesn't agree as she prefers me to sit all day like a doll.
