Ethan's first day of school

Today is Ethan's first day of school. He was incredibly well-behaved, with no tears and lots of smile. Jeffrey and I feel so 安慰 to see him growing from a screaming baby in church nursery into a well-behaved toddler in school. Teacher even commented him as "A kid with very good manner" since he is the only kid in class saying "please" and "thank you" all the time.

Ethan is quite a shy kid, and we don't want to send him to school until he's ready. Lately, he started to show more interest in school and he said he wanted to go to school...When he said he was ready, he was really ready. ^,^ God also prepared a spot for him in Bright Beginnings. It's a great beginning.

Charlotte's 1st Walk

Charlotte started walking today!!! She picked the occasion with the biggest applause! :)

Charlotte's 1st Birthday

Today is Charlotte's first birthday. We didn't do a big celebration, instead, a mini birthday party with just 4 of us. We put a crown on her to make her a princess of the day. She refused to wear it at first, but then kept it on all day after we told her it was "靚靚". She's such a cute 貪靚豬.

I feel bittersweet today as my little girl turns 1 today. Feel excited for her hitting such an important milestone with health and happiness, but yet, feel bad to see her turning into a toddler. I'm going to miss Charlotte as a baby forever. She's such an adorable and funny baby girl.

Goo goo made her an organic heart-shaped cupcake as a birthday cake. It looks lovely and healthy!!! We got her some balloons and a book "The ten little Rubber Duckies". She loves them!!!

Mommy's favorite thing to do

Ethan told me his favorite thing to do is to play drum, then I asked if he knew what was mommy's favorite thing to do? He thought for 10 seconds and said, "洗杯!" I don't know if I should be proud of this diligent image I've been giving him. LOL!

The next time I asked him, he said "洗碗"!!!
