Ethan's 3rd birthday

Time flies. Ethan turned 3 Yesterday!!! Trying to come up with something creative and exciting, we invited some of his closest kiddo friends to a "Build-A-Bear-Party" today! See how excited he was with the Small Frank themed pale blue party at the North Park Mall !! :)

With the kiddos and all the Uncles+Aunties, he had the most wonderful birthday party ever! With special permission, he ate lollipop, ice-cream, and juice in ONE DAY! Wasn't it exciting?!?!

In the party, everyone was supposed to pick a stuffed animal and gave them "LIFE" by pumping cotton and putting a 'heart' in... Yet, Ethan refused to pick an animal. "I don't want one!" was all he said...but he couldn't let go of a electric guitar. So, he got a guitar and Charlotte had his bear.

On his real birthday, we had a mini-party at lunch time. His only birthday wishes was to have 10 balloons...well...easily fullfilled! :) How excited he was when he saw Daddy holding the dozen of balloons at the door. He unwilling gave 1 to Charlotte, yet happy with his balloon friends all day!

Daddy's Birthday

Today is Daddy's birthday. Mom put 5 candles on the cake and I guess he's 5. By coincident, it's also Peter's birthday. We celebrated their birthday together at Goo Goo's house! :)

Charlotte @5 months old

Charlotte is growing to be a very happy baby. She smiles all the time. I'm now her favorite person in the whole world. Whenever she has eye contact with me, she giggles. Her favorite activity is to play "小明" with me or simply watch me play. Although she isn't very good at dealing with strangers, she's more willing to be held by others now.

I'm so happy to have a little sister, and we enjoy each other so much!!!

Zooooooooo 2009

Dad & Mom took me and Charlotte to Ft. Worth zoo today. Cloudy in the 70s... What a beautiful day! It's the 2nd time I visit this zoo while it's the 1st time for Charlotte to see real animals other than Snowball and LaaLaa.

I remember I showed more interest to ceiling fans and wire fence than to animals when I came here 1+ year ago. I didn't change much. I kept asking questions about those wooden gates and fence... only showed mild interest in animals. Maybe I don't want to be a zoo keeper in the future. An architect like 契爺 sounds better. Charlotte also prefers napping to animal viewing. Mom was thrilled to see penguin!

What actually made my day was...Caleb 哥哥!!! He's much cutier than animals! Yea. Patrick 叔叔 and Caleb 哥哥 went with us. I had so much fun just sitting with him on the red wagon! :)

Monkey 母女

Check out this Monkey 母女裝... Jennie EE sent Charlotte the Small Frank pajama without knowing Mommy has the same bath robe. Isn't it cute? I need to get a blue set for myself and Daddy too! :)

潮童

While Jennie EE and Alan 叔叔 are training Alexis to be a 潮童 using flash cards, Mom told me Charlotte and I were born half a 潮童 - 潮州兒童. Yet, she works hard to make Mui Mui a REAL 潮童 - 潮流兒童. 潮??

HY契姨 - my life saver!

Today is Chloe's first birthday and we had a very nice pool party at their club house. I had so much fun splashing water at the pool side. I saw some kids diving into the pool and I imagined I could do it too. I first put my 2 arms into water, and then my head... at the moment I realized something was wrong, a hand grabbed my vest like grabbing a cat... It was Hong Yu Gai E!!! She saved my life!

跳飛機

Mom drew something on the drive way and showed me a new game today. I had soooo much fun and fell in love with this 跳飛機 game. I sang "123, 321, 1234567, 234, 432, 45678910" while I played... so much fun!

We can roll

After I taught Charlotte how to walk, she taught me how to roll today! See how hard we tried!

Dallas Aboretum

Instead of egg hunt, Dad & Mom took us to Dallas Aboretum today. Although I'm not quite interested in flowers, I'm VERY intrested in grass. I just had too much fun pulling grasses.

Mom back to work

Mom is back to work today. Yet, she'll be working part-time and will be home around 3:30pm everyday. I'm happy with this arrangement and glad to have plenty of time to be with her. :) I see her at lunch and she's already home when I wake up from my afternoon nap! Isn't it great?

Yips

We have some visitors this week! It's the Yip family. I've met Jennie EE and Lobert Suk Suk a long time ago, and it's the 2nd time we meet. Although they look like teenagers, they've already got a baby!!! Alexis is only 10 days older than Charlotte, but she looks so much bigger. She is such a big eater that she eats 6oz of milk every 4 hours, while Charlotte only take 3-4oz. She must have inherited her appetite from Jennie EE. hahaha

Playmate

I finally have a little playmate! Although she can't actually play with me yet, she enjoys watching me play! I hope she can play sooooon!

Both at our 9th week, we actually look quite alike, except our eyes. We both have the same oval face, eye brows, nose, mouth, hair style, and even the same gesture. We're brother & sister!!!

Flu ordeal

Flu Flu Flu...

Shortly after Charlotte felt better, I caught the flu as well. My temperature lingered at 104F for 2 days...This flu ordeal is making our family restless. Charlotte and I took turn to wake up at night, and of course, so were Dad & Mom. They were just extremely sleep-deprived these few nights. As my fever gradually subsided, they could finally have a good dinner and hopefully some good sleep tonight.

3 out of 4 ppl in our family are sick. :( It has surely been a tough week, but we thank God that we passed it. While Mom, Charlotte, and I are slowly recovering, we pray that the flu ordeal will stop here... Daddy, stay strong!!!

Say "Coo"

"妹妹識講野!!!". Charlotte is only 2 months old but she can already talk! My little sis is so cool that she'll only say 'Cool'!

Sickness doesn't dampen the uplifting spirit of this little lady. She lifts us up too!

Charlotte hospitalized

Poor Charlotte was hospitalized for 2 days & 1 night after having a fever of 100.3F. Dad & Mom stayed in the hospital with her while I was home with Goo Goo. Little Charlotte was surely trumatized, and so was Mommy. She cried whenever Charlotte cried. Thank God that all tests - urine, blood, and spinal returned negative, while the flu test returned positive as expected. Yea... she got the flu from Mom.

Thankfully, little Char isn't very sick except some stuffy nose and mild cough. Our doctor believed the flu didn't hit her too hard because of the antibodies in her body through mom's breast milk. Let's pray that she'll recover soon.

ABC

Now I know my ABC, next time won't you sing with me...



Mom started singing to me since I was in her womb, I'd better sing a few songs now for 2+ years of intensive training... I can now sing cantonese, mandarin, and english songs!!! My favorite are 'How Great is our God' and the mandarin 'The Almighty Creator'. I could play drum while singing most songs too! And ABC is of course a must-sing song.

Orange family

I got extremely excited today when I found this orange family in Kroger. After having Charlotte, everything seems to have daddy, mommy, brother, and little sister in my world. No exception for oranges. Goo Goo bought the whole family home for me. :D

Full Month

Today is Charlotte's 1-month birthday. She showed me how to do cross-eye! She's such a funny lady!

Day 25

See Charlotte on her 25th day! Somehow her eyes are already bigger than mine, even though my head is 2 times bigger than hers! How could that be?
